Wyrmward places a spellbook in your hands and tests your wits against slumbering dragons, living stone, and forgotten ruins. Every spell has its purpose, every word matters, and every command shapes your fate.
This game is available as a standard Z5 file for purists seeking the pure, text-only Z-machine experience, as well as an enhanced Z6 version that utilizes Infocom’s graphical standard to add atmospheric visuals and audio.

Install instructions
For pure text, download the single z5 file;. For graphics and sound you will need both the z6 file and the blb resource file. Both formats require a Z-machine interpreter, such as WinFrotz, to run. For some interpreters, such as sfrotz, the graphics need to be scaled with --xscale 2 --yscale 2.
